2012 has started at a hell of a pace!! William has already been to Atlanta, Georgia and back with the Bunbury Boards www.bunburyboards.com and at Showcase, Dublin. We have lots of excited couples visiting Lisnavagh House for potential weddings and already looking at a busy summer.
We have lots of plans for fancy camping and a tree house….more soon!!

Come and enjoy some Christmas shopping in the historic surroundings of Lisnavagh House at our annual Christmas Fair 2011 from Friday, 25th November (4-8pm) and Saturday, 26th November (11am-5pm).
Held within Lisnavagh House there is a festive atmosphere with deliciously tempting cake and lunch from Kildare Kitchens. It’s a long way off still however believe it or not we have started to prepare for our Christmas Fair, which is held in Lisnavagh House and is a lovely atmostpheric event. This year we are raising money for the Carlow Hospice, which is in need of lots of funds to get the building underway! Keep Friday 25th November (4-8pm) and Saturday, 26th November (11-5pm) in your diary for lots of interesting Christmas presents and you can stop for a delicious lunch or coffee with caterers on the day – Kildare Kitchens. We will keep you updated in the meantime on stalls and who will be attending.

Your Estate is fantastic, beautiful, handsome, impressive and many other superlatives ! Your discussion of your family’s efforts to continue to operate Lisnavagh and bring it into the 21st Century was most impressive and heartfelt by all of us. We truly pray it goes well for you, Emily and the children; and continues in the Bunbury family for many more centuries! Please do put us on your “news” list and keep us posted as time progresses……

Have you seen the Bunbury Boards on Masterchef Ireland showing on RTE currently? There are flashes of the boards that are being used in the MC kitchen plus the MC boxes with surprise ingredients for contestants. All made here at Lisnavagh from sustainable Irish hardwood.

Started with a visit from the Margaret Shirley group from the USA led by the wonderful and inspiring Marianne Gorman. We served tea & coffee with scones while William told them the story of Lisnavagh to date. Finished off with a few Bunbury Board purchases tucked under their arms and continued their tour to Borris House. Meanwhile we were entertaining our up and coming bride and groom to be, the lovely Roisin and Declan and family. Poor little Tom was not a happy bunny today – teething I think but hard to tell. Exhausted now! William has made a fine tortilla! I’m lucky!
